To add information about your progress.ini file:
- Copy the information you want to save from your previous
progress.inifile to the OpenEdgeprogress.inifile.- If you are copying information from a Version 9 installation, rename any
PROUIBsection toPROAB. ThePROUIBsection of the Version 9progress.inifile is referred to asPROABin OpenEdge.- Run
ini2regto update the information in the registry with the information you added from your previousprogress.inifile.Note: If you want to continue using the property information (such as- Restart your system.
ubroker.properties,conmgr.properties, orproxygen.preferences) that OpenEdge automatically prior to the installation, copy the saved property files from%TEMP%toinstall-path\properties. For information about the automatic save of the property information before the installation process occurs, see the "OpenEdge automatic save of Properties files" section. For information on merging property files, see the "Mergeprop utility overview" section.You will need to perform any other postinstallation tasks as discussed in the "Postinstallation considerations" section and the "Performing postinstallation tasks" section.
